Latest diagnosis: epilepsy

Ambulance rides and severe memory loss turning weeks to months to years. Hospitalized around dozen times for days or weeks on end. Constantly trying to remember events from the past days/weeks.

That’s my 2020’s in a nutshell so far.

Due to these obstacles I’ve been struggling even with my daily tasks, thus not being able to even think about band stuff.

Instead I established a long-term plan to get back on my feet. First thing was getting to know my enemy – identifying where these seizures and other symptoms were coming from.

After going through EEG, CT scan & MRI imaging processes + many other medical procedures several times, the reason was found: last week I got diagnosed with epilepsy.

Earlier diagnoses included PTSD and currently I’m being tested for ADHD (a diagnosis is more than likely). So we’re now able to start medication for my seizures and other disorders.

This means that after four long years of inner and outer chaos and confusion, I’m slowly getting back on my feet, dusting off, and continuing from where I left off back in 2019, both in my personal life and musical activities.
